This warm romance starts with an exciting hook, and the action doesn’t slow down until the satisfying end of the story. The chase has unexpected events, and what is so memorable is the way the rugged hero’s faith is restored when he begins to recount all of the ways only God could have delivered him and his attractive charge again and again and again. How many times have I seen God’s hand in my life as I’ve viewed my own deliverance in hindsight? I loved this story. Thank you, Ms. Galbraith for a very entertaining evening. Officer Ben Parson actually does know why, and he's been assigned to help keep her safe. As He steps in to intervene and keep her safe, he has to explain the why, and it turns out that to keep her safe, he becomes a target as well. The story is amazing, and Alice is one tough cookie!
